Scan codes in Hatchtopia Life to get Hatchimal Eggs and Add Friends!
First, have your code ready!
Hatchimal Codes can be found inside Hatchtopia Life Collector Plush Toys.
HFF Codes can also be found in the Social section of the app under 'My Code'.
Where to scan a Hatchimal Code
- In the app, tap on the pink scan button on the righthand side of the screen.
Where to scan a HFF Code
- In the app, tap on the Social button on the righthand side of the screen.
- In the Social screen, tap on the Add Friend button in the bottom righthand corner.
How to Scan Codes
- After completing one of the above steps a menu will appear.
- Choose 'TAKE PICTURE' if you want to take a picture of the code with your device or 'TYPE CODE' if you want to enter it manually.
- TAKE PICTURE: Hold your device's camera over the code, when it is centred tap the pink button to take the picture.
- TYPE CODE: Use the onscreen keyboard to type in the code, pressing the green check mark when complete.
- If successful, you'll get a SUCCESS! message.
- If the code fails, you'll get an error message. Try again or contact support for help.
